April 15th 2011 - Let's sing !
A brand new, all interactive interface for our nursery rhymes, plus a few additions. Here is the full list: Sur le Pont d'Avignon, L'Empereur et le P'tit Prince, J'aime la Galette, Une Souris Verte, Gentil Coquelicot, Ah! Les Crocodiles, Le Bon Roi Dagobert, Les Petits Poissons, Le Grand Cerf, Petit Escargot, À la Volette, Un Canard A Dit À Sa Cane and one in English : Three Blind Mice.
Please note: we are exploding our bandwidth allowance with this section, which we simply would not be able to make available online - let alone working smoothly for thousands of you at a time - without the patience, skills and support of our irreplaceable hosting friends: NFrance Conseil. We have been with them since 1999 and can only recommend them on all accounts.

You asked, we did it!... Valentina Vagliani lent her voice to the games, she also translated and is brilliantly telling the "Tree Story" for i for isola. Check it out here!

November 1st 2010 - Encyclopedia Interactica
Some of you have no doubt noticed our latest project that appeared and disappeared several times in the past year or so. We just added a few entries to our interacive encyclopedia. It has its very own address: www.encyclopediainteractica.com and should see the numbers of its entries grow and grow in the next few months and years!
April 2010 - April Fish!
What a day the 1st of April was this year. We played a silly trick, pretending we couldn't continue...
It's all here.
October 2009 - Poisson Rouge in Greek!
A few months ago appeared on Poisson Rouge a Greek Alphabet and a School of Greek. This was all thanks to the formidable people at the Laboratory of New Technologies of the Faculty
of Communication & Media Studies of Athens University that we met in September last year around their EPINOISI Project: Professor Michalis Meimaris and Dimitris Gouscos. They found a no less formidable MSc student, Sotiris Kirginas, who needed those for his research, so he translated and had recorded all the words. A few months down the line and he needed these pages done as well so he proceeded to translate them all... The rest is history and is all here.
Needless to say we would not have been able to do this without him, so many many thanks to you, Sotiris Kirginas, and very best of luck with your research!
March 2009 - New Boutique now online !
We have completely redeveloped our Boutique, swapped downloads for CDs and added sections of the site. You may even make a straight donation...

October 2008 - The Rycroft Park.
The new Rycroft park is now online. Last bit of old content (2000) to be revisited, it brings the amount of activities on the site to nearly 300 !!
Here is the user guide : Rycroft Park
September 2008 - Poisson Rouge in Athens.
We went to Athens, invited by Professor Michalis Meimaris and Dimitris Gouscos at the Laboratory of New Technologies of the Faculty
of Communication & Media Studies of Athens University, to present our site to an audience of 250 teachers and teacher trainees as part of EPINOISI, a project on games-based learning for students with mild intellectual disability.
Here is an abstract of our presentation : Athens Presentation Abstract
July 2008 - The Schools of French and English.
More old content (2000), revisited and added to, the Schools of French and English are word castles - each room has items (more than 200 in all) to roll over and click on, their names are spoken and written on a black board.
We also have just put online the User Guide for the Dot to Dot...
Have a good summer break!
February 2008 - (Almost!) New content: the Art Gallery.
As we are reorganising old content, we are introducing the Art Gallery to Red Fish Soup visitors.
We made this Gallery in 1999! It contains interactives inspired by the works of Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol, Maurits Cornelis Escher and Piet Mondrian.
January 2008 - New! Pages for adults on Red Fish.
After many requests for explanatory pages and guide to the activities, we are launching our pages for parents grand parents and teachers...
You will find within these pages a User Guide of the games and activities on the site, some Clues as to who is hiding behind the Red Fish, some of your Comments that touched us the most, Links to sites that direct to us and news about our Shop... In due course, we plan to offer background images and screen-savers and we hope to find time to put within these pages anything to do with our activity and children's (multi)media in general. We hope you find something of interest in these pages and we'd like to thank you for being here and wish you a beautiful New Year 2008!!
